Launched during Black History Month, the ’47 HBCU Collection celebrated the legacy of Historically Black Colleges & Universities through officially licensed headwear and apparel. The collection honored HBCUs’ cultural and academic impact while expanding ’47 Brand’s reach into new communities and consumer bases.

Designed a full range of branded merchandise including:
Balanced authentic HBCU identity with ’47 Brand’s sportswear aesthetic ensuring logos, colors, and typography reflected each school’s heritage.
Created flexible design templates that could be adapted across multiple schools, unifying the collection while celebrating each institution individually.
Partnered with licensing to secure and adapt graphics for universities including Morehouse, Spelman, Clark Atlanta, Howard, Hampton, NC A&T, Grambling, FAMU, and others.
